How has this happened? President Obama was prepared to drop healthcare after the Scott Brown victory, until Pelosi urged him on. A bill no one has read fully, rammed through for people who don't want it, spear-headed by a woman whose approval rating is now just slightly higher than unemployment.
Come on sweet November - the people will have their say. I hope people never skip a trip to the polls again - this is what we get when we stay home; a country we don't recognize. As VP Joe Biden would say to Americans: "It's F---in' nuts!"
There is the "walk through the peasants" so we need a "Walk Across America" & all march to D.C. & show up on election night.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to me that 14 states are filing lawsuits cause it parallels what the colonial states did, i.e. petition King George III.
America’s ancestors fled Europe & it’s tyranny & then fought tyranny in the American Revolution.
They would be proud of us cause we demonstrated in the streets (9/12 March in D.C.), wrote our representatives, sent letters/e-mails & make telephone calls & wrote numerous comments on blogs, but where did it get any of us? Our government has become a tyranny.
I must mention that there is a new book just out that is a great read for 2010. What's next after the lawsuits (petitions)?
